I'm Heather, based in the North-West of England, and a member of the International College of Professional Celebrants.  Before becoming a celebrant, I spent many years in IT and have a Fellowship with the Chartered Management Institute. I am a Mum and a Master Scuba Diver. I decided to make a career change to be a professional celebrant after the deaths of my own parents. I chose to honour their lives by delivering a service for them personally. Being able to have a ceremony that reflected their personalities and the wonderful people they were was an immense privilege. It inspired me to help other families to achieve the same, whether a joyful beginning or a tender farewell. Depending on the occasion and your own vision. I will make your ceremony as fun and unique, or traditional and respectful , as you want it. An important point is that I am a Special Needs Parent and have an absolute passion for diversity and inclusion. Whether that is someone getting married with a hearing impairment, a key guest with ADHD or autism, or someone wanting a gender affirmation ceremony. Everyone will be treated with respect and supported as they should be.

I take the time to truly know you and the people you love, so that every word I speak on the day feels authentic, personal, and exactly right. No two ceremonies are ever the same — because no two people are. I'm mobile around most of the North West, so whether you're in Liverpool, Wigan, Stockport, Chester, its not a problem. I manage my business as a limited company, Heather Berry Ltd, and have Professional Indemnity Insurance.
